Assembly Manual Redesign

As part of the interview process for a design role at UPLIFT Desk, I was given an existing manual to use as a style reference, and tasked with producing a polished, print-ready assembly manual within a 24-hour turnaround.

The Work

Using the provided style guide, I laid out the full manual in Adobe InDesign, formatting and placing all written content, organizing the step-by-step structure, and integrating the technical illustrations. I carefully matched the formatting to UPLIFT Desk’s existing manual standards, ensuring consistency in typography, layout, and visual presentation across every page. Before bringing the artwork into the layout, I reviewed the provided line art files in Adobe Illustrator and corrected several errors in the illustrations. I also proofread all the content and steps thoroughly to catch any inaccuracies before final submission.
